For Caribbean Residents (Lenders)
Through our platform, Caribbean residents can:
- Access our non-downloadable software via any web browser
- Create a personal account to list household or travel-related items (e.g., baby gear, snorkel equipment, coolers)
- Set rental cost and availability
- Receive requests from verified US travelers
- Manage transactions and coordinate delivery through the system
This service is offered free of charge during the testing phase, with all listings and transactions handled within the Paradise Borrowed platform.
For US Tourists (Borrowers)
While traveling in the Caribbean, US tourists can use our software to:
- Create a profile
- Search for and browse items available for rent in their destination (e.g., Grand Cayman)
- Submit borrowing requests directly through the system
- Confirm reservations, submit payment and leave post-use reviews
- Communicate with local lenders through our integrated messaging system
The platform is accessible via browser and does not require installation or downloads — making it seamless and secure for short-term use during travel.
